Client Guidelines

Please take a moment and review our client policies. These policies are in place to help us deliver exceptional service to all our clients on each visit.

Arrival Time

Most of our appointments are scheduled with an arrival time frame and not an exact time. We give our cleaning technicians an one hour window to arrive so we can cover most common occurrences that could affect our schedule such as but not limited to traffic, road work, weather, additional services on the cleanings and others.
Cancellation/Rescheduling
We require 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling prior to the date of service taking into consideration our business hours (Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm). If a scheduled cleaning is not rescheduled or canceled within the 24-hour timeframe a 50% fee is required. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis based on emergency.

Access to the house

If we arrive at your home and you forgot to leave the door open, leave a key or code or the team needs to leave without cleaning for any reason, you could be charged 50% of your cleaning cost. Our employees are paid by the hour and this fee is necessary to cover the operations. Most of our customers do entrust us with a key or a code to their homes, a responsibility we take very seriously.

Assigned Cleaner

Your assigned cleaner will be your default cleaner with the exception of illness, vacation, personal emergency or an ongoing schedule change. In the event that your default cleaner has an ongoing schedule change or no longer works here, s/he will be replaced with another trained cleaner who will have your home’s customized Work Order. You are welcome to audition multiple cleaners until you find your ideal match. All Amanda’s Maid employees are trained based on the same checklist and should be able to perform the same quality of work.

Results

The best results will be achieved with minimum or no traffic of people and pets in the home. The areas must not be in use during the cleaning process, for example, our cleaning technicians will not clean a kitchen while someone cooks. Floors must be completely dry before being walked on to guarantee the best results. Pets can’t be around while vacuuming and mopping.

Preparation

Please pick up miscellaneous objects and keep the home as tidy and organized as possible so we can focus on the quality of your cleaning. Before we come to your home, please make us aware of any objects with sentimental value that are important for you like expensive objects, fragile objects, family objects and others. We will be happy to not touch those to guarantee that they’re preserved. Our cleaners are very careful and rarely break something, but accidents can happen and we want to make sure that all objects can be replaced. Also, please secure all unstable items like pictures, light fixtures and others to guarantee a safe environment for our cleaners.

Physical Limits

Our cleaning technicians are not allowed to lift objects heavier than 20lbs to protect their health longwise. Heavy furniture will not be moved during the cleaning and that should not interfere with the cleaning results as most of the visible areas are reachable to the vacuum and mops used by us. Our cleaning technicians are not allowed to climb more than a two step stool to minimize the risk of work related accidents. Higher objects will be cleaned with a three or six feet extended duster. Please feel free to provide a longer duster if your home has very high objects. It will be used and left at the home on each visit.

Pictures

Amanda’s Maid reserves the right to take before and after pictures of your home. This protects you and Amanda’s Maid from any issues that may arise such as but not limited to damage, misplaced objects or improper cleaning. Rest assured our cleaners will NEVER take pictures of your personal identification information. As a client of Amanda’s Maid Cleaning Services, you have the right to review any pictures taken before these are submitted on our company website or another public domain where Amanda’s Maid markets to different clientele.

Complaints

If you have any issues with our cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment and send us photos that prove your claim. We will honor our 100% satisfaction policy by sending our team back to clean missed areas or redo areas not cleaned according to our checklist within five business days. Please let our office know of a date and time that works for you within this period. After five business days of the original appointment, the home will no longer be eligible for the repair spot cleaning and full payment for the service will be expected. If the crew returns and fixes said areas, full payment will be expected right after. Complaints made after the 24 hour period will not be accepted and payment for the full service will be expected.

Unfair Solicitation Agreement

We value our employees and pour an enormous amount of time, energy and financial efforts into our screening, hiring and training process. We also implement multiple internal work policies to guarantee our employees performance and protect our reputation. This agreement protects Amanda’s Maid from unfair solicitation of direct work between customers and our employees. Both our customers and employees sign the present agreement to minimize the risk of unfair solicitation that might affect the experience all our clients have come to expect. Be aware that you will be charged a $5,000 finder’s fee if you hire a cleaning tech employed by Amanda’s Maid LLC on an individual basis for direct work during their employment and up to 12 months after their termination. You recognize that you are hiring Amanda’s Maid LLC and not Amanda’s Maid LLC employees directly.
